What Are UV Labels

UV DTF (Direct to Film) printing is a digital printing technology that uses UV-curable inks to print high-quality images onto a film, which is then transferred onto a variety of surfaces such as textiles, ceramics, metal, and glass.

UV DTF printing has several advantages over traditional printing methods, including the ability to print high-quality images with vibrant colors and fine details, and the ability to print on a variety of surfaces with excellent adhesion. It also has a faster turnaround time, as the printed film can be applied to the product immediately after printing without the need for drying time. Additionally, UV DTF printing is environmentally friendly, as it does not require any water or chemicals in the printing process.

How do I Install UV Stickers

Installing UV DTF stickers involves several steps, including preparing the surface, removing the backing, aligning the sticker, and smoothing out any air bubbles. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to install UV DTF stickers:

1. Clean the surface: Make sure the surface where you will be applying the sticker is clean and dry. You can use a mild detergent and water to clean the surface and remove any dirt or debris. Allow the surface to dry completely before applying the sticker.

2. Peel off the backing: Carefully remove the backing from the UV DTF sticker. Be sure to avoid touching the adhesive side of the sticker to prevent contamination.

3. Align the sticker: Carefully align the sticker with the surface, making sure that it is straight and centered. You can use a measuring tape or a level to help you with this step.

4. Apply the sticker: Starting from the center, use a squeegee or credit card to press the sticker onto the surface. Work your way outwards, smoothing out any air bubbles as you go. Make sure the entire sticker is firmly pressed onto the surface.

5. Remove the transfer film: Gently peel off the transfer film from the sticker. Start from one corner and slowly pull the film away from the surface. If the sticker starts to come off with the transfer film, use your fingers to hold it down while you continue to remove the film.

6. Check for air bubbles: If you notice any air bubbles, use a pin or needle to poke a small hole in the center of the bubble. Then, use the squeegee or credit card to press the air out of the bubble towards the hole. Smooth out the area with your fingers to ensure the surface is flat.

That's it! Your UV DTF sticker should now be securely installed onto your chosen surface.

The lifespan of UV DTF stickers depends on several factors, including the quality of the sticker material, the environment in which they are used, and how well they are maintained. Generally, high-quality UV DTF stickers that are made with durable materials and are properly cared for can last for several years or more.

UV DTF stickers are resistant to water, sunlight, and most chemicals, making them ideal for use in outdoor environments. However, exposure to extreme heat or cold, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, or contact with harsh chemicals or abrasive surfaces can cause the stickers to degrade more quickly.

To ensure the longest possible lifespan for your UV DTF stickers, it's important to clean and maintain the surface regularly. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the sticker, and try to keep them out of direct sunlight as much as possible. Additionally, consider storing spare stickers in a cool, dry place to protect them from damage.

What can I install my UV sticker on?

UV DTF stickers can be applied to a wide variety of surfaces, including:

You are placing an order for one (1) 11"x16" Gang Sheet or one (1) Custom Cup Wrap or one (1) 3"x3" Decal or one(1) Pen Wrap.

Here are examples of what you can fit on one sheet.

Gang sheet: A3 11" x 16" Sheet fits 4 9.45" x 4.2" cup wraps or 15 3x3 decals.

16oz Cup Wrap: 9.45” x 4.2” *Please note that not all brands of 16 oz. glass cups have the exact same measurements. They differ by a couple of millimeters.

20oz Cup Wrap: 9.23” x 5.2” Please note that not all brands of 20oz. glass cups have the exact same measurements. They differ by a couple of millimeters.

Cup Decal: 3"L x 3"W *Please note that not all brands of 16 oz. glass cups have the exact same measurements. They differ by a couple of millimeters.

Pen Wrap: 1.5" by 4.75" inches.

PLEASE NOTE THAT PEN SIZE VARRY BY BRAND.

Resolution 300 DPI or above recommended.
Please ensure your design has a transparent background.


Application Instructions:

1. Make sure substrate is clean.
2. Peel film from back of design
CAUTION! Ensure your design is lined up on the cup or surface. Adhesive is VERY strong. Once the glue touches the surface, do NOT attempt to remove the design.
3. Lay the design film down on the glass cup.
4. Squeegee the film working from the center outwards, pushing out any bubbles.
5. Rub, the more rubbing the better.
6. Peel clear film. Peel film and ensure the design is sticking to the surface.
7. If you notice the design not sticking to the surface, relay the film and continue to rub. Then proceed with peeling the film.
8. Leave the design on the cup or surface for at least 24 hours so the glue cures. If you notice excess glue, you can remove it with soap and water but only after letting sit for 24 hours.

Care

These are to be hand wash only!  They are permanent. For Cups: DO NOT PLACE IN THE DISHWASHER.
